Wisdom 11:13

When they heard that the Hebrews were benefiting from their punishment, they perceived that it was the Lord’s doing.
For a double affliction came upon them, and a groaning for the remembrance of things past.
When they learned that their punishment had been of benefit to your people, they realized that it was your work, Lord.
For when they heard that the cause of their own torments was a benefit to these others, they recognized the Lord.
When they heard that through their punishment the righteous had received benefits, they perceived the presence of the Lord.
For when they heard that through their own punishments the righteous had received benefit, they perceived it was the Lord’s doing.
For when they heard that through their own punishments the righteous had received benefit, they perceived it was the Lord’s doing.
For when they heard that through their own punishments the righteous had received benefit, they perceived it was the Lord’s doing.
For when they heard that through their own punishments the righteous had received benefit, they perceived it was the Lord’s doing.
For when they heard that through their own punishments the righteous had received benefit, they perceived it was the Lord’s doing.
For when they heard that through their own punishments the righteous had received benefit, they perceived it was the Lord’s doing.
Soothly when they heard, that it was done well with themselves by their torments, they bethought on the Lord, and wondered on the end of the out-going. [When forsooth they heard, by their torments well with them to be done, they remembered the Lord, marveling into the end of the going out.]
